I had a No-Slip in my manual XJ, which is basically the same vehicle, for 2 years and loved it. It always locked up when needed and didn't make any noise on road. Sure was fun in the rain also!

Some people have reported problems with the PowerTrax No-Slip and the manual tranny in the KJs

I would stay away from the noslip, it has problems with the manual in the KJ. It seems that since the manual transmission is a little more blocky than other truck transmissions, it is also a little more picky and you get slight grinding when you shift gears.

You can find other alternatives here: http://www.youngs.org/kjparts/default.asp?category=3

This is a good sight for parts for the KJ. I am in the middle of installing an ARB locker.

Never put PowerTrax NoSlip with a Manual KJ.
