im wanting to build sum rock rails like cowdogg http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=12412 im really wanting to make sum like these so i hoping that i can get a bunch of advice from everyone else before i start and hopefully some blueprints, measurements, cad drawing or something :D

By the way, I think everyone can read normal text size and color.

Do you have the equipment to cut the metal and weld it?

Its best to just get the steel and start getting measurements off you jeep and fitting it all together. Its hard to make something custom like that unless youve have several semesters of Draft classes in college and have the perfect sketch.

I agree with jeepjeepster. Plus you'll need to fab with some thing cheap first. use wood or plastic to make a template. You can't go wrong with what some of the work our sponsors do here. Quality work, saves you time and piece of mind because we members have already made them 'tried and true'.
