Welcome to L.O.S.T.,there is no power programmer for the KJ only a JET chip(stage I or II). Could you down size your avatar,it's really to big. |

Lots of programmers exist for a CRD nowadays.Used to be only one and now you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a CRD programmer. Not sure if programmers exist for the 3.7. If one does exist-- I would get a money back warranty. Some gas engine programmers don't do a darned thing (like 5hp or less for $450 bucks) and some do, I suspect it depends on the engine. |

We dyno'd a Jet stage 1 for a loss of 5 peak hp. I would recommend the B&G flash. It's the only programming available for the 3.7 that I know works. |

Where can you get a B&G flash done at? |

You need to send them your PCM, or pick up a spare and get it programmed with your VIN and for your security keys and send that to them. |

What does it mean by "shift points raised to 5k rpms"?? Does that mean the tranny wont shift till the engine gets to 5k rpms? Ive not hit 5k rpms in forever! I hardly hit 4k rpms.. |

Where do you see that they change the shift points to 5k rpms? Here's what they list for the Liberty. B&G Jeep Liberty Flash (02-06 JTEC-NGC) - $430 includes shipping (2nd Day Air) (*) This PCM upgrade is designed for stock vehicles or vehicles with some modifications (mild cam, cold air, headers) Revised (MBT) timing & fuel tables Rev limit raised Torque management removed Speed limit raised |

Sry, I was looking at the wrong one. I cant believe they charge that much.. I bet it takes 5min to change that stuff. I guess they dont change the shift points at all then? |

The charge is partly because they're the only ones that can actually do it. It's kind of like me doing a data recovery on someone's crashed hard drive. It may not take very long on my equipment, but the hardware, software, and expertise to do it are worth the hundreds of dollars to do it. One of my software applications alone is $3600 per seat. |
