Newby here, just purchased a 05 Limited Diesel 4X4. I would like to do about a 1" to 1 1/2" lift on it. I found on this forum to the Libertys where lowered 3/4" in 02 by the factory. Was this done with shorter springs? If so, can you still get these? I can make my own spacer lift, but it looks like the springs are close to bottoming out. I'm not looking to run larger tires, just to get a better "look" for the Jeep |

If you were running a gas KJ, I would say to get an older 2.5" Daystar lift, wheel the heck out of it for about 3 years, and you would end up with only about 1-1.5" of lift. |

Yes. OME (Arb) makes a suspension lift that is right at 1.5 inches. But... it is not cheap. It is the best quality, however. Keep in mind when looking up the price/parts that you will need the more expensive CRD specific lift. A CRD cannot use a gasser suspension lift in the front as the motor is too heavy. As such-- no "pre lowered" 02 factory struts are available in the US for you, as they only made gassers then. The only cheap alternative is a spacer lift. I do believe a 1.5 inch spacer lift is out there (daystar). It is less expensive and may suit your needs better. Also note you can go up a tad larger on the tire size without a lift at all. This will help get the Jeep a bit higher and improve its looks and handling. Many, including me, feel the stock tires on this vehicle leave much to be desired. Call All-J for either lift and they can fill you in. |

REVTEK also has a very good 2" spacer lift. You just need to get a bit longer rear shocks. |

I got 1 3/4" of lift out of my King Springs setup with OME shocks. It is of outstanding quality, the King's are slightly firmer than the OME coils. Be sure you order the HD coils in the front for the CRD. |
