Just releaed today from Italy M2Customs Metalpasja new bumper for the KJ, in this case for a 2001/2004 Model, but I am sure it will fit later years too. Not much information at this stage but as soon as there is more I will post it up

Went threw 3 styles of wings with my rock lizard center section. The simpler the better it has seemed to me because of the cardboard. I decided to ditch the card board and hit a cad program for the first time. the proportions are exactly right but this will be mk III for me on kj bumper wings. 3rd design ive had and will be designing more now that I have this niffty cad program.
mk III

Thats my thoughts exactly......so I made 6 of the front ones, and 8 of the rear ones. And a custom one off stubby.

All bumpers pictured are my custom built bumpers.

Wrangler has tons of bumpers. Can't we get a mount made to fit wranglers? All we got is ARB now.

Personally a Wrangler bumper on a KJ looks hideous.

Look up Iron Forge Customs and talk to Mason. Maybe you can talk him into building you something custom. I still have the measurements in my head and will be happy to give them to him.

this thread got me thinking:
http://forbiddenjeeps.com/forum/jeep-te ... er-on-a-kj

but as I was frantically searching for TJ bumpers I like, I decided the real problem with how our bumpers look is that our fender flares look stupid. Now searching for and other jeeps with "close" mounting plates (don't care if I have to drill). But now I really want something like a police bumper instead of a bull bar or the godawful prerunner bars, so I may try my hand at fabbing. At least now I have another tool in the "how am I going to mount it" section.

So other than ARB which is way way over priced is anything still out there for a KJ?

I want a front winch bumper really bad.

finally made my own :D (with help from a welder buddy of mine)

the inside looks like this. made from a couple pieces of 3x5 angle iron. there is 2x2 angle iron running up inside the frame securing the tow hook bolts and a third bolt further back. the center section skidplate unbolts for access to the winch bolts and hangs down far enough to provide some protection for the wire harness channel and hoses. still undecided on what to do about the washer bottle and horns. light bar is for a JK I think. the lights are wide angle work lights for low speed see-everything light.
