Post subject:  Frankenlift and ball joints

For all of you that have a Frankenlift installed, are you seeing any problems with ball joints? If so, how many miles have you driven with the lift and which ball joints are failing (if any)?

Got about 15k on mine and no obvious problems so far. Do need to check them soon though.

about 30000 on the first jeep and right at 40000 miles on the second one. Hope that helps. Later...clint

Clint dosen't have any problems because he never drives on more than a dirt road.

I did try something similar in MY WIFES SCION.
Dang near ripped off the rear bumper hitting a friggin tire tread on the fwy. Need steel bumpers for that thing already.....Hmmm...bet someone probably makes them for the Scion too. Bet they are chrome though.....perfect for a Japanese vehicle Scion, Chrome bumpers. :shock:
BTW, Once she is out of school and working full time as a teacher, we will be looking at Mustang GT's. :wink:
