What is the widest (All-terrain) tire you can put on a kj with a 2.5 in. lift, without rubbing or very little of it.

Some people run 265 tires but theyve got rubbing and you must get extended bumpstops for the rear.

You do know that wider tires are great on asphalt, but have limited uses or improvements off road right? They can hinder more often than they help depending on the terrain.

Plus different rim width and/or backspacing will also result in different rubbing.

I think I heard of someone running 265/60's or 255/65's, with a 2.5 lift with no well mods.

Part of the problem with the wider tires is that when you stuff them they hit the outside edge of the well and, depending on how hard you hit, can tear your fender flares off. You need extended bumpstops.

I like my 245/75's but I had to trim and heat mold some stuff for them.

There, that should do it.

I like 245/75. Good all around size for a 2.5 Lift. Too bad its 10ply (load rating E)
