Will the 1 1/2 inch up front and 2 inch rear lift from AllJ's work on a KJ?

IMHO, it's perfect for a CRD (I have it) and it's no good by itself for a gasser. Matter of fact, All-J posted it on their site after I advised them of my results over a year ago concerning the CRD.

I love my CRD Frankenlift II but it is more like a 2 1/2" lift. One thing to remember is lifting a diesel will not effect you milage as much as lifting a gas vehicle because diesel has all that low end torque. I still average around 26-27 mpg on the interstate and 22 around town.

Would the Rubicon wells fit with that lift?

You know since I lifted my gasser and added an extra skid plate, rear recovery hitch, and rock rails I still get the same milage with my street tires and the second set of aluminum rims I got off ebay real cheap , about 21-22 mpg. If I drive real carefull I can still get 23 mpg.

If I put my MTR's on it goes way down though, about 16-18mpg, and I really don't notice much torque loss with the 245/75.

I do not feel the lift has cost me any milage but the meats really do.

The rubicon wheels will fit nicely with a 2-2 1/2" lift. They correct the backspacing so your tire does not rub on the front sway bar. Some slight fender trimming may be required. The part that needs to be trimmed is that pointless little wind deflector at the bottom of the bumper.

Here's a pic of my CRD with 2 1/2" Frankenlift, rubicon wheels, and 245/75/16 Goodyear MTR's. I have no rubbing because of the aftermarket front bumper.

Interesting, I never knew it was the tires that were to blame for the poor gas milage on the lifted 3.7's.

Glad I got the CRD. I love a vehicle that you can lift, add bigger tires and "drive it like you stole it" and still get great fuel milage.

Yeah it's the weight of them and the mt/r's dont have the best rolling resistance compared to a highway tire. They do look bad booty though!! 8)

After getting some 16x8 with BFG AT's I tried going back to my alum wheels with standard AT's on them. I went back to the 16x8 w/BFG's within 2 days. I couldn't stand not seeing the setup, even though my gas mileage was slightly reduced.
