I would appercaite any comments from any one that has installed the 3.5 X factor lift on a kj, Rockfathers has stated in there suspension notes that lifts over 2.5" will cause front axle bind, and wouldn't recommend a 3" lift on a kj.

anything over 3 inch is asking for trouble unless you do a solid front axel

practiculy all members here run 2.5 or the franken lift which will give you a little over that but not much

alot of bad water towards Rock Krawler with us KJ owners

Be careful what you believe on rocky-road's website, too. The part about 3" lifts is true but, there is an awful lot of misinformation on that site, also.

Technically, I belive you could get away with it for on-road driving. If you going to wheel it stress welds, joints and cv's i doubt it.

I just have to say stay away from ROCKKRAWLERS stuff when it comes to the Jeep Liberty. They do not test properly and will blame any problems on customer installation. The were selling that lift for the CRDs and never fitted one. The CRDs have the front differential lower and to the drivers side...they finally took the application off the website after a member jumped thru hoops trying to get his $$$ back.

You may lose your Warranty on your KJ with a lift over 3". My dealer said they have no problems with 2.5" lifts, but Jeep will not accept problems with a KJ over 3" (that have any relation to the problem).
