Does anybody uses ASFIR Automatic transmition Skid Plate ?

Is there any temperature problem? (although there are some holes)

Darby Walters uses all there skids and loves them,not good for rock crawling but gerneral light duty protection they are good.

Dont see why there'd be a temperature problem the trans doesn't really use the pan for any type of cooling. Mainly relies on the tran cooler. Although i think there is an aftermarket pan available made out of aluminum with cooling fins on it, also holds a few extra qts. but i dont think a skid plate will fit with it.

No problems with cooling. They are very thick and strong. The best part is that the tranny skid is also a transfercase skid. They will be fine for most offroad ventures and will protect you from stumps and rocks...but they are so nice looking you don't want to beat them up :wink:
