umm you can spend a whole weekend and make one and put hella 500's on it.. and id bet youd be more satisfied with the finish if you made it your self than if you dropped almost 400$ for some tupperware |

Checked that JeepKJ thread. That is the simplest and cheapest light bar I've ever seen. Bravo to him. Simple, functional and not to hard on the eyes at all. |

The Rennie lightbar is nice. It's very fitting for the Lib and, besides the flares, gives your KJ the Renegade look. But it can be cheaper to make yourself a lightbar. My whole roof rack set-up, including mounts for the rack itself, mounts for the light bar, and my electrical set-up with the actual lights cost me $150 at most. Understand that I got the rack for $20 locally and each pair of Hellas for $40 used from friends |

Yes, it was the deal of the century; a 6x48x80" Garvin Wilderness rack runs about $400 new but unassembled. Tupperware stays in the kitchen

I also like the Mopar plastic light bar. It works just fine. It's a clean install and looks good too (what a bonus). But then again, I also like it because it came stock with my KJ. Didn't have to do any work myself. On the other hand, I did a lot of work installing my Frankenlift. But it was worth it. Just finished last weekend. I opted for the Frankenlift II, premium. Rides great on road driving to and from work so far. Looking forward to the trail next month (too busy this month). Ivan. |

I know a few companies have universal fit light bars that get screwed into the gutter in your doors. I got one of those from a buddy for 20 bucks, repainted it, and got some hella's, things stupid bright. Thinging of making a custom light bar for the front like the newer KJ's have and mounting some PIAA fog/driving lights to it. |
