I am a little lost when you guys are talking "conduit nuts" to supplement or add a lift? What exactly are they and where do you put them? I am running a 2.5" lift, but am a little curious about it. Also a "clevis lift"... what is that as well? If any one who has one can post some pics, that would be great!

I assume the conduit nuts go on top of the strut somehow or... between the strut fork and strut?!!.. or... and the clevis lift, I have no idea.

Please keep me in the loop! ahahah Thanks a lot guys

this refers to putting 2" conduit washer nuts between the top of the clevis and bottom of the strut assy.

Image

some guys put 2 or 3, some of us have 4. not sure what the ratio is on the lift per washer, but it does help out to level the front end.[/img]

The Clevis is the round 'clamp' that holds the bottom of the front strut - a Clevis lift is loosening the clamp
pushing the strut up - generally about 1/4" to 3/8" and then tightening the clamp, the conduit nuts are just spacers to make sure both sides are the same - the clamp should hold without them.

This is the original Clevis lift step x step (no photos)

excellent!! Thanks for all the advice. Got it all figured out now. I am going to add a couple washers to each side in the front then. I like the extra lil bit of lift it gives you! Count me in! ahaha

Thanks again

I made my own custom spacer. 0.2" thick and I gained 0.4" of lift.

Thats with lift etc, not just the conduit nuts installed, just to make it clear You may gain 1/2 , maybe 3/4 of an inch with conduit nut lift thats about it.
