I totally agree that a properly BS rim is the best choice. In my case i wanted a cheap steel rims because i knew they were just going to get thrashed. The proper BS needed for me to run a 12.5" width tire is 3.75".
I could not find anything in a 16x8 that is still cheap and a style that i liked with 3.75"BS. They were all 5" BS so i put on 1.25" spacers creating a 3.75" BS that let my tires fit with out rubbing on my LCAs or Swaybar. A simple, SAFE and cheaper solution to custom rims or a rim i did not like.
The only reason i jumped in on this was to try and spread real and educated information, instead of just repeating what is heard. Freeking everyone out and telling them that wheel spacers are going to kill them, when you have no knowledge of them is just rumor spreading, web wheeling crap. People should experiance and or try things to get a truthfull judgement. Not just keep spreading old web wheeler type myths
when that particular person has no real world experiances with the product. Cya

They were cast and they just slipped on the studs. I don't recommend using those. My experience was real world and dangerous. It was also with a crappy product that I thought since had been deemed illegal. Now the bold on kind I am sure are much safer. I have no idea what brand, I sold the FJ shortly after, I could never trust it after that. So I put it up on ebay. Hopefully the buyer hasn't had any problems
