Got a question for you guys

In Aus we cannot get the RSX 17004 Rear shock for the KJ

if and its a big if. Would the Rs5000 rear shock part number RS5248
for the Durango fit a lifted KJ?

Have not a clue. Doesn't OME make good shocks or are you just set on the Ranchos?

I would use the same those since they should have the same lenght and bushing as the 17004s. The OME is a good shock, but they are only 1/2 longer than stock. However Seth from ARB is looking into it for me.

What shocks are you running in the rear now? OME, stock?

stock at the moment, and the KJ has handled pretty well, no top or bottom outs at the moment.

I am trying to find something that will suit when i go a bit higher still

prob another 1/2 to 3/4"

and the Rancho Distrbuter in saud they do not have the RSX for the durango in thier stock lists :(

What about ordering from All- J? Would the shipping be too much?

Sorry man that sucks. If you want give OME a call and ask them what the extended lenght of their rear shocks are. Mine only measure 22.5" and stock ones measure 22" I think the RSX17004s measure more like 24.65". It makes a big difference in rear flex. I'm still waiting to hear back from Seth.

Here is a pic comparing the OME and stock, notice no real difference.

Wow that is not much difference at all. Do you have OME coils too Eddo? I think I need to get the HDs for my ARB bar and winch, too heavy! But it sure looks good :D

OME coils are great. Overall great setup, however their rear shocks are just too short. Seth is looking into it for me.

Let us all know how it goes with Seth. Will he be making a custom setup or will it be a new product that ARB is coming out with?
