Does any one know if we can disconnect in the front for more flex

Yes, it can and will increase flex up front signficantly. However it can drastically effect on road driving conditions so be careful.

WITH THE KJ ONLY DISCO THE FRONT FOR OFF ROAD! NEVER DISCO IT ON ROAD!

That being said, I've found the disco only necessary on the nastiess of trails: a few in Moab, John Bull in Big Bear, and Calico. Even at that the KJ will run those trails just fine connected..

The best way is just to take the whole thing off. Only 6 bolts. Do a search for swaybar. There are plenty of good post that discuss this issue.
