I just got my rustys coil lift in a week or two ago and it didn't have those parts you circled as well. Granted, I got the Rustys 2.5" coil lift and upgraded the rear shocks to OME. Did you upgrade to OME as well? It seems as if those extra parts are for the rear shocks.. like spacers or something so they fit in the rear. The OMEs fit perfectly and dont require a spacer, etc.

check that, luckily they fell out on my driveway

however i do not have any instructions? and i checked rusty's site but they only have instructions for the spacer lift?

I called Rustys for instructions as well.. they said they don't have them and we are to look in our owner's manual for the directions. They were very un-helpful. I found these articles helpful when I installed it:

instructions:
http://www.jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=6052#6052 (to-the-point no extra steps.. no photos though)
http://www.skyjacker.com/image/search/pdf/LIB250K.pdf (includes extra steps you don't need to do. i used these photos to help me)

and the torque specs at: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... ion+torque

It appears that you have everything except for the shock bushings and washers. I couldn't get those shocks to work even with the washers = nothing but squeaks no matter how many times that I torqued down the bolts. The thin bushings kept crushing in. I would recommend the upgrade to OME shocks also.

Those flat metal brackets are not a part of the lift. The red things are the bushings that go in the shock's mount. They might be a different color. Look again.

I have never went through the whole manual page by page but if it tells you how to install a lift I will have to go through it again. Good old Rustys, they are always so helpful arent they

I have a PDF with pictures for a 2" lift if anyone wants it. Send me an email. The only thing that I can see missing is the method of installing the new rear springs, either get someone heavy to stand on the axle or "carefully" use the stock jack to push the axle away from the body.

Stock jack works the best , have done three lifts so far and have had my coils in and out 6 or 7 times easy to do by yourself, no HEAVY person needed

Yep.. that's what the woman said when I called. Of course, my owners manual doesn't show this. She said "Owners Manual" but I bet ya she meant to say "shop manual" .. which.. our jeeps don't come with. heh
