Looks like a great place to get away from it all and of course with someone special! Looks like something got you pretty good in the rocker panel though! Tom |

Are you sure the mounts will work? The KJ has an odd shape. You should have gone with one of the big three. 1. Rock Lizard 2. Boulder Bars 3. Carolina But I guess the cost of cross the border orders and shipping would kill your budget. |

Yeah, why create the extra work for yourself when there are better (bomb proof) alternatives that bolt right up? |

Set of custom rock rails is $160CDN.... That won't even cover shipping from USA of one of the "Big 3." Not to mention the gun-to-the-head "brokerage fees UPS hits us canadians with when they show up at our door! (Brown refers to where they screw canadians) Don't get me wrong, I love Boulder bars, Carolina's etc. Just nothing in Canada so we gotta improvise! |

Makes sense. I cant believe it was only $200 to fix that. Did you just get a new rocker panel or what? I just bought some steel and made my own rocker rails.. It was around $100 at the time but steel has went up.. I would say around $150 tops now depending on the price of steel in your area. |

WHo needs a body shop or to buff when you can smear peanut butter on it, and it will vanish |

I did that number to my KJ's passenger side rocker about a month after I got it. Not as bad as yours...but it took the paint off and it's now starting to rust. Yeaaaaa...I need to get that fixed. Whats the # to that body shop again??? |

That spot is on East Stave lake. Bring a winch or a buddy. Some serious pond/puddles. I tried to go around one, thats how I bashed up the rocker... I went up the East side of Harrison a few months back... Getting close to time to do the west, and then on to Skookumchuk! |
