$199.00 wow, plus another 300 plus to replace with Boulder Bars or Skink Siders aftter the RROs bend. And who knows how much more for repairing damaged body panels from where the bend pressed into the body. Oh and lets not forget the pain and headache of having to deal with their "steller" customer service. All this assuming that they ever send you the rails after you have paid for them. lol. (can you tell I don't care to much for their company?)

Not sure what you are getting at?

Sorry you had a bad experience. Lots of people are running the Rocky road sliders on
here and this is the first I have heard of them bending....

How did you bend the pinch weld? Are you serious or venting?

I haven't heard of anyone liking them(only heard/seen one person with them),one person that had them had one hell of a time getting them on since they didn't fit right and yes there customer service is really bad, have not heard of anyone that has had a good experiance with them.

Was going to get an All-J, but there is a 6 week wait.

That's bad customer service.....

I will post once they arrive, and let people know how they are.

At least they told you there would be a wait,Rocky Road will just take your money and not bother telling you of a wait or even bother shipping the parts.I still believe there are poeple on this board waiting for paid parts and/or money back from them that have been waiting month's.Good luck, hope you actually get them.Make sure you get a tracking # before they charge your CC.

Waiting for something from AllJs or Rock Lizard is great because they are turning out quality products and their service is excellent. RRO has a sell on their stuff because no one wants to deal with their service or attitude. Quality is well worth waiting for!

Tom said that!!

I'm not looking for trouble. I will post how it go's.

So far they were quite pleasant at Rocky Road. I have nothing against All-J, but 6 weeks is too long
for me.

As for Rock Lizard, they make awesome stuff too.

Just thought some people on this board would appreciate a deal.

Great deals are appreciated all the time but since a lot of us have been on here 3 to 4 years we have seen and heard from many about the problems with RRO. If they had them for 99 bucks I would still wait. Also I know someone on here had them and they did not fit right, its been a while back but all the same.
All the same if you order Good Luck with them

Tom

Found this thread. Sheds some light and seems unbiased.

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=4027&highlight=rocky+road

They have a flawless record on ebay, and seem to be
good supporters of the liberty

I am suprised of the bad rep on here!

Humpty, no offense taken, but yes my RRO rails bent up into the front pinch seam. Think it has to deal with the 2 bar support as opposed to the 3 that All Js had. I am pretty hard on my armour. If you dont do much heavy trails and just want a piece of mind, it might be ok. I'll see if I still have pics of it.

Like TJKJ said, RRO will charge your card and not give you a shipping date or anything. Please do let us all know if/ when you get them. I remeber it being at least 2 months before I got mine.

Their ebay record is a farce. Look around on JU and other sites too. Seemed that when people left less than good feedback, RRO turned around and started a dirty name calling war, leaving the buyer dirty feedback too. Got so that ebay pulled most of the posts. Maybe their products for other lines of vehicles was ok, but for the KJ..ehhhh not so much. They were helpful in getting the aftermarket mods started for the KJ, but in my opinion, didn't put as much research into it as other companies have done. (i.e. their OTT/ Budget lift and rails.)

Lastly, Thank you for finding a good price/ sale on a product. Thats why this community is so good. Fellow Jeepers helping each other out and sharing feedback.

Mine came from RRO, About 4 weeks from order to delivery, powder coat well protected during shipment, no issues mounting them. Have tried but can't seem to bend them. :D Also bought my lift from them, no issues, but no instructions. Took a couple of calls to get them to email them to me. Didn't need them, plenty of info on these forums to do the job.

They don't have stellar customer service, Tough to get a hold of them, and KJ's are not thier main business. But I haven't been disappointed by the products.

I can't really see what went wrong in those pics, but
ANY rock rail has gotta be better than no protection.....

(my last trip)

Ouch. Something is better than nothing but sometimes not by that much.

Bad customer service is bad customer service, that's just a wait.

You have the option of deleting feedback on e-bay and they've done it. That by itself should be a sign.

To be fair some people have got good stuff from them and no issues at all. But that seems to be a very, very small number of Liberty owners.

I like mine...they saved me a few times and once when I was winched over a rock sideways. These are the step sliders. I got mine used so my customer service experience with them is nil.
