Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these A-arms from RRO? They say that they are a factory jeep part and not aftermarket? So i guess that means they don't come with moogs. Iam just trying to do research for my options when i do decide to change my upper A arms. You guys probaly recommend jeepinbyal which i will probably end up going with due to the proven quality, But RRO's A-arms are $89.00 a piece which is alot cheper then al's(389 per set), but i guess it could be the same as most things and you get what you pay for? What do you guys think? Thanks Josh |

Well if they say they are OEM a-arms then they are no better than the one's you have on your KJ already, they will be the exact same thing as you already got.Al's a-arms are better for the fact you can get a lifted KJ back into alignment and they have replaceable/greaseable balljoints, hence the extra cost.
Thanks Josh |

Thanks Josh They are the factory arms. I hear RRO has the worst cust. service. Someoneon here or at kj country bought those arms and RRO never shipped them out but he was charged for them. Get al's they're 100x better. |

Yeah, those arms may be half the price of the dealership but, it does you no good when they have your money and you have nothing. |

FYI, the moogs are LBJ (lower ball joint) & what UR considering is the upper arms. As already mentioned, Al's uppers have a greasable/replaceable ball joint that is better than the OEM. Switching to the Moog LBJ's is highly recommended when you lift the vehicle. i ordered my Moogs 2 days after installing the Frankenlift. My passenger LBJ (stock) failed the day B4 the Moogs arrived in the mail and i incurred some damage to the vehicle due to the failure. Hope i haven't muddied the waters. |

Al uses Moogs in his upper arms. ![]() I bought a used stock upper arm from Mutt for a spare. I took the boot off to clean it out and put more grease in it and the old grease was gray, he said it only had 18k on it too. Ive tried to get the boots off my arms thats already on the Jeep and I cannot. Ive gotten the rings off but Im worried that Im going to tear a boot so I just put the rings back on. I believe the whole problem is the fact that water gets inside the boots. If there was an easier way to grease them then I believe they would be fine. Found a pic.. ![]() |

I installed a 3 ring clevis lift today and now at full drop i have UBJ contact so Al's upper A-arm's are a must. They only reason iam looking to see if anyone else makes the A-arms is due to the duty fees and shipping to get these things to northern canada($$$).Let me know if anyone wants to sell their's. ![]() |
