this past weekend found their way up into the A/C condenser coils, the radiator and such. The snuck in right behind the bumper. Is there anything I can put there to stop it. Skid plates are in place. I have wondered if I could put a screen over the coils and stop this. And the skid plates did their job when I was in the ruts of muddy roads. Did not help as well as I hoped though. I got where I was going but there were no deer there to cooperate. One good thing, I could not find any damage to were the CV boots as compared to the Trooper I used to have. Corn was rough on my Trooper. |

Corn stalks ?? yes they can be rough on everything for sure , esp just cut corn! Will cut things like a knife! Dont think jeepsters screens will keep them out you would need to fashion something allmost like a skid clear up to the front of the bumper to stop them. On my ARB I know they cant get up in there as I have a piece of metal running from the front of the bumper curving down to the front of the engine skid tying it all together and also making it so nothing like tree limbs/ corn stalks can get up in there! |
