So here it is
no longer do people from the south have an excuse to not go wheel
it is 200 miles from my house and I plan to go monthly
it is still under development so if a clubs want to "leave their mark" all they need to do is let me know and I will
put you in tuch with the right people ,ie cut a trail and name it "X-club trail"
it is well worth the drive
as of now if you run the stock to super stock trails 1 way you can go for 6+ hours nonstop
if you get brave and run some of the "harder" trails down hill you can go for days but you will probably see some body damage in a KJ

Here are some pics of the "sandy bottom"
we are riding in HUGE wash outs cut in to sand that is hard as stone on the top but at the bottom 1 spin of my LTB's
and I was 10" down in the sand
Yes I did get hung up ,the sand ledge broke loose and I slid to the side and got wedged in
the good part about this area is that it is just sand and not as strong as the steel on your jeep so all you get if you rub the wall is some good scraches but almost no bends
there are also many many other wooded trails wich have some rocks ,yes rocks in south Louisiana, and some real good trails wich have even more rocks and will chalange even some of the most set up rigs
put it like this on our way out Sat. night we found a $70K+ rock buggie ,all wheel steer on rock wells, on its side trying on of the "good trails"
enjoy

Follow US-61 north from the LA/MS state line to Natchez
hook a right across the MS. river to Ferriday LA
from there it is back highways that are not in my Atlas but Ferriday is about 15 or so miles away
well worth the trip

Just a reminder that we are still working on this place
and we NEED folks to go and ride so that the land owner will open it up to the genral public all year long

The next ride will be 11/16-11/18
I drive ~5 hours to to get there and I do it in the TJ with the bias ply superswampers
it is that good
let me know if you or your local club want to ride
Right now if your local clubs wants to get involved and "cut a trail" and then name it that is probably doable
I think that 20 or so guys from lost should get togeather and cut a killer trail and name it "somthing Liberty"
that way when guys break there TJ's on it we can laugh at them and say "a bunch of Libertys made this trail"

If I lived closer I would definitely be up for it. I'm still hoping the owners of Paragon up here in PA find some new land to call home. Then I will sign up to help cut some trails there for sure.

That is probably the best part of getting in on this stuff at the ground floor
You get to say "yeah I built that trail"
or "know it ,I was there when we found it and cut it"
