I have the 2 inch BDS Lift....now looking for some tires.....I got the boss talked into buying Cooper Discoverer STT ( I work for a Natural Gas company where it's always muddy), will I have the clearance for the 235 85 R16? This Tire would be about 31.73 inches in dia.

I have run both 245/75 and 265/70 on my Libby with that BDS lift. I had minor rubbing at full lock or stuff until I pounded the pinch weld, then no rubbing at all.

The 235/85s would be a full inch taller than either of those. I'd say with a pouned weld, you'd get minor rubbing, but that is all.

I'm planning on making my next set of tires 235/85-16s.

It seems as if I will have to go with the 245/75 R 16 to have less/to no rubbing. Right now the jeep has 235/70's on, and they just look tiny

How is the BDS lift working for you? I have that lift kit on my consideration list.
