OK now I know that they are not the same 100%
and as I stated in another post I may have a way to get a complete 8.25 from a very built XJ
the gears ,4.56, will do me no good
now I can probably get just the locker ,95%
but are the alloy shafts the same?
will they work in my KJ

If this is the case then I may just buy both the darn axles as they both have alloys
the front has an ARB with 4.56's ,duh
I have an ARB in my 30 ,I want 4.56's in my 30
I want an ARB in the front of the KJ
If I buy this complete 30 ,ARB 4.56's alloys my front is done
pull the ARB from my TJ 30 install in the KJ ,with the power trax and alloys from the XJ in the rear
and I will have 2 BAD ARSE Jeeps
then sell what I have left over to buy the gears for my 44 rear in the TJ
Does this sound like a good plan?

Keep in mind I am also buying a set of Trail ready bead locks with no tires
and they are 16X10's I run 15's on the TJ now so I will also be droping $800 min. on tires next year as well
I want to have it all but I may not
if ya'll tell me that the in sides of the 2 8.25's are the same I will be poopin
and back to working 60+ hours a week for the next year

The axles will not work from the XJ's 8.25 to the KJ's 8.25,the XJ's 8.25 axles are shorter then the KJ's axles.I was pissed myself when I was getting stronger axles for my 8.25,I wanted alloy axles to but sadly they where to short.

Do you have the dims for them? How much of a difference?
