Post subject:  All J's OME only lift job

Finally got to visit Quinn and company at All J's in Big Bear, this past Saturday to give our KJ a much needed lift. Great guys to work with, when I arrived, we went over my goals for our KJ and Quinn decided we could go with an all OME lift, HD springs, struts, and their proprietary long travel rear shocks with new bumpstops added. He pointed out our front springs had sagged so much the axles sloped uphill towards the wheels. After they installed all in well under 3 hrs, we took it for a quick test drive then retorqued everything.

They pointed out the front halfshafts now run downhill towards the tires, and the overall lift looked about 4 inches. My drive home had to be the long way due to fires here still going on, a good 40 miles of curves, uphills, downhills, then 65 miles of freeway. Man, WHAT a difference, it was like driving a completely different 4x4! Ride is smooth, and handles curves really well, and a much better, more precise feel overall. We may not have as much lift as with spacers, but it is plenty for us, and the ride is great. All J's is a great find, and the only ones that I'm aware of that offer pre-assembled springs/struts.

I'll try to attached the after photos here:

Looks great by the way!! And AllJs are great to deal with for sure!

Post subject:  L-O-V-E the OME H.D.s !

love these OME H.D.s ! I was iffy about the HD's as it's my wife's daily driver, but no one should worry about it, they do not feel stiff at all, a very smooth ride, more travel of course, and I'd say do NOT consider the medium duty spring rate fronts, as there would be no benefit. All J's recommends the HD's even if you have no bumper or winch plans, because of much less chance that they'll sag over time.

Have to say that the stance, and feel now, it's what should have come from the factory in the first place.

They had a KJ on the lift with long arm kit getting ready to be finished off with what I think was a D30 solid axle.

I saw your KJ at Quinn's looked real good. I was there when Quinn pulled in after the test drive. I had the silver KJ park in front of the shop wanted to talk to you but you left.

Looks great! I think the liberty should of come from the factory with the OME suspension, but that would be a good idea and DC didnt like that at the time. Put some rims with less BS on there to take care of handling issues(flipping) and it would be fine.

The stock 04's have a slight tilt uphill on those cv's. They are like that since they lowered the liberty after 02.

Would you mind terribly if I asked what parts & labor cost came to? Did you/are you going to need any other parts for the Heavy Duty set, or did evrything you need come in one package??

Looks PERFECT!

Well the way I see it, if you have no clue how to do this sort of thing, AND I CERTAINLY DONT, you get what you pay for. And as far as experience goes, I trust ALL J's with my JEEP any day...

Go to All Js web site and look it up it tells you the different prices for the kits and then also what they charge for installation of course you could always have a lift party and do it that way as well! Heather is simply fantastic to talk to and help you as to what you need
