Ive been searching around on here about different lifts for my renegade.
Id like to fit the 245/75's and still have a decent ride and be able to haul a snowmobile trailer with two quads. Mainly my liberty is used form y daily driver, most of its time spent on road. its does get off the pavement on the different jobsites I work at, but nothing extreme.

I was looking at the coil lifts and the spacer lifts, do either one offer a better ride and ablity to tow a trailer?

It looks as though the 2.5" lift is the way to go and that no matter what the rear shocks should be replaced. The front struts either need to be replaced with longer units or have a spacer added, how much does the spacer hurt the ride compared to the actual strut replacement?

Ive been looking at quite a few of the different lifts. The Frankenlift looks good, but price is kind of higher than i was wanting to spend. And the rustys 2.5 " kits look good as well, the spacer kit is cheaper but if ride quality is drastically different i would spend the extra on the coil kit. And ive also been looking at the other ones as will, Daystar, OME, ect.

Also one last question, how much was your MPG hurt after the lift was installed?

You might want to consider doing a coil lift and getting some heavy duty coils for the rear, maybe some OME HD. Talk to All J's and he can work something out. That way you don't have a sag in a few years if you tow alot.

For the front going with a spacer or full replacement strut dosen't matter that much. But not all spacers are created equal and I would suggest you look into the Rocky Road Combo kit over the Rusty Spacer/RRO OTT kit.

I lost about 2mpg once I added my tires, then 2 with the armor and 2 for this and that.... it depends on what kindof tires you get. I got more street a/t tires vs mtr or agressive a/t. That's because it's my daily driver too. (100 miles each down right now :( )

Once i put in my Rusty the quality of the ride improved.

I towed a 4k trailer in Houston traffic several times with my Rusty's coil kit, no problem. The tounge weight on the trailer was probalby around 300lbs though, but I was plesently surprised at how well it did. If you can keep the tounge weight down, you won't have a problem with sagging but then that is the trick and probably a obivous point.
