Post subject: | All Parts Required for Basic Old Man Emu Suspension... |
I have a 2005 Renegade. In order to install an OME suspension properly, with NO ball joint contact etc., are these ALL the parts I need?, or will I need other things like new spring isolators, bump stops etc? OME Mediums Springs front (no ARB bumper in the plans unless I hit the lottery) OME Medium Springs Back New OME Struts front New OME Shocks rear I would get this installed by a professional. Also, how much lift should I get (ballpark)? I am likely sagging with OE setup right now. ![]() Thanks for any information or advice (I have read lots but still want more info). |

Thats all you need. You should get around 1.5-2" depending on what spring rate you go with. |

Nice, I was hoping things were starting to make sense. I currently have 225/75R16 Wrangler ST's which may get me through the winter, but are just about bald. Are the following statements correct? A) If I change tires to 245/70R16 - I will NOT have any rubbing. B) If I change tires to 245/75R16 - I MAY have to pound pinch weld / heat gun and trim wheel well. (Also depends on tire brand and model) Tires looking at are General Grabber AT2, BFG AT KO, and Dueller Revos Thanks again |

yea you got the tire questions correct. i have 245-70 general grabber at2's and they JUST touch behind the foglight door at FULL FULL lock, nothing to worry about. and clear the pinch weld just fine. stock springs, no lift |

Thanks again for the help. So much to read means information overload. Glad I'm catching on. Now to find lots of pictures of some KJ's with an ALL OME lift.... Thanks |

most can get away with no trimming with 245/75 when lifted since its such light rubbing. 245/70 will rub slightly unlifted but wont rub anywhere when lifted. |
