Post subject:  Al's arms?

My upper ball joint, passenger side, is going bad and I was thinking about just going with Al's upper arms to replace both sides. It was going to cost me almost $300 bucks to get both upper ball joints replaced so i figured why not spend a little more and go with Al's. If you have them, what do you think? Pro's/Con's? Thanx in advance for any help.

I've got them, no problems. love them! No cons, just pros for example ball joints are greasable and replaceable if needed. they also help getting the alignment closer to factory specs than you would without them.

The word on the street is that the new generation of Al's arms have gotten past all of the previous issues that they have had. Nolakj is running a Rusty's lift with the older arms. He's not totally happy with it but gets him from point "A" to the top of a mountain. He's got a little sag after a couple of years on the Rusty's and the A arms were necessity after his went bad

Well, I went ahead and ordered them, should be here on thurs. My drivers side UBJ went to hell on my way back up from denver the other day. Hit a nasty pot hole on I-70 and after that it felt like the front end was wandering a bit. I pulled over and shoved on the upper half of my tire and could see the ball joint moving. Limped it back home and ordered the new arms the next morning. Can't wait to get them installed. Thanx for the advice.

Finaly got my new a-arms in. Passenger side was pretty easy, drivers side was a PITA. I'm hearing some rattles in the front, is this common with al's a-arms? or did I do something wrong?
