With that pompous attitude, you won't win over too many people here.

Mount them over the spot where the tow hooks go, where there's a large open space. I went with driving lights.

I have an 03 Renegade with the light bar. I mounted driving lights on the bumper above the tow hooks. What a difference! The driving lights light up the road/trail.

I would recommend either driving or long range lights. Check out this web site for details on the difference between all types of lites.

Check out the general section for the pics of how I mounted some PIAA 940 combo driving/fog lights on the front bumper of my 05 Reny.

If you can track down talon1 on the Mid-Atlantic forum he bought a very cool light bar for the bumper

Well, being in pitch-black I can tell you mine driving hella 500 make a huge diferrence in seeing. I have stock foglights and they don't do anything that I can tell.

So my vote is to get some driving lights.

What he said. I took my Hella driving lights out the other night after I aligned them up. No problem seeing anything at all.

I recommend both fog and driving lights. I like the stock fog lights because they light up close to the vehicle and to the sides. I put a set of KC Hilites Daylighters 150W on the bumper and boy do they light up the trail/road. They are better than my high beams. I have a 2003 Rene with the light bar. So my KJ really lights up the trail...

I opted for the Hella Driving Lights for cosmetic reasons, but they sure light up the dark woods.
