Yea if you could keep use informed cause $3000 just for the lift not including the SYE kit and drive shafts done thats alot of money to spend and find out its just going to break!!

The lift was first installed wrong by the shop and damaged some parts wich damaged others. Im getting the new pieces this week from rockkrawler and will install them with this the suspension will be installed just like stated by rockkrawler and i will go test it on medium to heavy offroading. as mentioned before for srteet use it worked perfectly and looks impressing. But I still have to test it offroading which worries me a little because of certain details which broke before, this colad have been because of the bad install Im not sure, but i will let you know the results. Also I havent heard from no one else who has tested it with medium to heavy offroading the other install i know off is only being used for road use. If someone else has installed it and is using it offroad youre comments will be greatly appreciated, I have all the pics of the testing and this weekend with the new pieces I will take lots of them because believe me i really want it to work but if it doesnt I wll let you know. I could understand back yard joe installing the kit wrong but a professional shop ? I know anyone could make mistakes but I hope your holding the shop liable for the screwup. |

I still dont want to drop conclusions put there are certain parts that im sre werent caused by the bad install, but id rather wait till i test it this weekend, there are some holes that have to be donde to the knuckle i broke both because it debilitated it. Rockkrawler said I did the holes wrong so this is one of the pints I will reverify but common logic tells me a hole in a knuckle debilitates it but lets wait to see what happens this weekend. As of today I am very doubtful this thing works for medium to heavy offroading, I really hope Im wrong because i have spent tons of money with this. believe me every single piece has been checked personally by me and it is installed just kike they say. Lets see what happens. |

That's probably why RK would'nt show up to the LOST functions they were invited to. I mean would'nt you want to show your product off to the very guys who will be buying it. Or does that make too much sense. Has anyone seen their rig off road yet... There's your answer. I wish you the very best of luck, you deserve it. Keep us posted. |

most of the things I saw on your photos were "springs popping out" (inherent design flaw with the spring bucket not the lift) and the Rear fender flare popping off (because you have bigger tires and NEED longer bumpstops) these issues are pretty normal for all aftermarket lifts when used with larger tires AND longer shocks, especially where there is such a short spring post as in the WJ and KJ designs. I had the problem in my ZJ also with an RE lift, fabbed up a retainer and no issues anymore. There arent any lifts that come with the proper bumpstops, for some reason.... I dunno why,..... |

Those issues are nothing and I fixed them, the front knuckles, diferential and steering is what has been breaking as mentioned Im trying one last time changing all the pieces and installing new ones. |

That lift is obviously not one made for wheeling out of the box. fireblad1 is certainly going to make it one if not by getting cooperation, unlikely, then by determination, patience, and a little machining and fab work. Later, J |

Yeah, the "opposite" tire deal is NOT good obviously.. was it the tie rod ends that blew?, or was it the rack and Pinion box??? total bummer...... darn rockkrawler, they just cannot seem to get things right the first time.. their ZJ and TJ kits failed ALOT when they 1st came out, now nobody wants to run them either.. their "krawler" joints catastrophically self destructed on the first run of kits, supposedly they have fixed that, but others are sketchy. Its too bad.. The KJ Looks Awesome with that lift....... |

It does look good and you are right, Rock Krawler is making quite a name for themselves. Just not a good one. I wish this was a better kit as I had high hopes for it. I called RK right after SEMA and asked them about testing the kit, early availability, and a contact list for release. They told me that they didn't have any info and put me through to a guy in sales/maketing who assured me that they were starting the list and that I would be the first one contacted. Yeah, okay... Funny, still have not heard from them. Maybe it's because I told them I would be wheeling it.

I did not buy it. But good luck and I am keeping my ear to this and see that you have good luck |

This cause the effective length of the tie rod to change causing you to toe in and toe out, but his case looks awful extreme. |

RK cotinues to say everything is because of the install, i offered them to fly to Mexico to see what is been done wrong, they refused anyway i guarantee the lift is installed completely correct this time. What happened first the knukles broke because of some holes they tell you to do, next one knuckle bent because with this suspension the whole steering control goes in the top of the knuckle and also the pinions broke. Anyway It gets finished tomorrow with the new pieces RK sent, plus the new i bought from jeep lets see what happens and definetly the results i post after this weekend will be the final in over a month and a half suffering with my brand new Liberty, well thats if this lift didnt ruin it ,I will try everything to get it to work off road wich was my purpose for purchasing this lift, its too much money to throw away just having it as a museum piece. Also RK tells me they have gotten compliments from the people who have purchased it, please were are they' show me pics, give me feedback are they offroading it or just driving around the neighborhood. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
