In the photo (on my computer) they almost look pink. I’m assuming they are red. Are there paint options?

Lucky you.. im jealous.. and yes they are red and i dont think there are color options.. you can alway rattle can them what ever color you want.. its not like they can be seen that much so the paint dosnt have to be flawless. ive seen others paint them and they looked great. ill paint mine when i get them one day soon (i hope)

I was going to paint mine, but ended up leaving them red. It's not all that noticeable unless you're very close. Then it's pretty obvious it's lifted. Most people aren't like us here, who have KJOCD. They don't even notice that it's not stock, much less look into the wheel well and notice red and yellow parts in there. People into Jeeps and trucks tend to notice right away.

KY I saw your KJ was lifted by the Frankie. But I must say. It doesnt look as high as some others. I saw a 06 lifted with the Frankie and looked huge compared to this one. I guess it is true 06 and 07 look to get more height. How old is your Lift?

KY also. I saw that you have a Borla duel exhaust. Curious if the second pipe runs along the bumper of the KJ and the tip just hangs down? Or does it go over the rear axel?

It was installed in November. The extra weight of the brush guard and super skinks made it settle really quickly. It also doesn't have any extra isolators in the rear so it is level instead of higher in the rear. The skinks make it look a little lower, as does the design of the front bumper and fender flare area. The guy in my office that drives a stock '02 pre-lowered said that whoever called that only a 2.5" lift couldn't count. He never saw it before the weight gain. That stuff was installed the weekend between changing jobs. Here it is before the weight gain.

Yea, you get more than 2.5inchs with the Franken lift. I got 3" with my rustys and the fraken lift is higher than that.

The exhaust crosses over right behind the rear diff.

What suspension are you going with? Have you decided if you're going to paint your arms?

Thanks, the hood gets tons of attention. It was the 2nd one made off the mold for the Profinish-Proglass 2 door convertible KJ that Terry made for a SEMA show in '03. I don't know of any other than his and mine. A bunch of people from JU said they wanted them, but everyone backed out except me. I had the hood done with the nitrous system. Even though people constantly ask me about the hood, I think I can stand to keep it.
The better kit for the 45rfe is only about $100. It's the labor that will get you. About $250 around here when I had mine done a few years ago.

Anyone see a problem with this? I drew the arrows to show the bolt coming up through the boot. The one A-Arm bolt coming up through the boot is almost like its bent over. I cant move it. Nor the boot.

The ball joints have to move in there thats what they are suppose to do and yes they will move that far like the bottom one. To straighten the one up put a wrench on the nut and pull it over to where it is straight up, not a big deal. You will need to move them to install anyways. All looks good to me.

Squirting some grease in there will help them move.

New balljoints are usually fairly tight, thats why you cant move it.

No need to go to the pansy card. Just a newbie learning about all this suspension stuff. Glad to know all is good on the Al A-Arm front.
