Well its 9:15am in NJ and I'm going outside to install the new front lift. I'll be replacing the crusty's front with a home brew using OME springs. If anyone wants pics or measurements of things related to springs, or the front suspension just post up here and I'll snap some while i'm gutting my baby. |

No major problems with Rustys?? just the fact they loose heighth over time, will not hold up over time the way OMEs will, only rated at 310 lb, where as OMEs mediums are even rated at 375 lbs. They are just not as good as OME or some others are. Sure lots of people use them due to they think the price is cheaper than others and it will get you up there for.... a while, ok Jeepster, your turn OH Plus has Rusty ever came onto this site and tried to help us out? Offered advice like we have received from ARB/OME folks etc. So major problems....seems like a lot of people switch over esp. the fronts. just my 2 pennies Tom |

The OME suspension is far superior to any other suspension. Only reason I got the Rustys front springs was at the time I didnt know if the OME HD springs would lift it up anymore than the OME med springs that I already had on it. I knew I wouldnt get a bumper for a long, long time if ever so I didnt really need more spring rate. Eddo recommended getting the Rustys coils and its worked out great. Theyve been on there over a year with no sagging, had it offroad twice with the Midwest group too. |

I have been on the pulpit, and others as well, preaching the Gospel of OMEs for a long time now. But it seems like my LOST Brothers and Sisters like to stray away from that gospel at times and take another road, only to come back to the OME flock sometime in the future. Rustys is a good kit for sure, but when I was growing up it would be like the difference between buying a Cadillac and a Chevrolet. Everyone can choose what they want, but for me OMEs |
