Any shock from that same range of years will work that is from a Dakato 4WD The RSX line is just a good shock

The (17004's)most of us are using are for a unlifted Durango, they are about 3" longer then the stock shocks.

ok so i ordered my Ranco s today with the gift card i got for xmas. i got the 17004s for a durango.... my next question is does everyone running these shock like them?? how much more articulation will i get over the stock is it noticeable?? i think it 3 more " of travel is that correct? should i have gotten OME they would have cost me just as much but then i couldnt have use the gift card and would have had to wait more than a day(mine will be here at 730AM tomorrow) to get them.. hope to hear about what others have to say about this sorry for the length :)

I have had mine on every since I lifted it and the ride is great, does great out on the trail articulates very good, granted the OMEs would be better I am sure but for what I do they are doing what they need to do!

Check to make sure the shock doesnt bottom out before the suspension hits the bumpstop. Ive heard thats a problem, I know it is with the OME 132L's.

yes should install bumpstops for sure, I blew one of mine that way,

OF COURSE you should install the same amount of bump stop as you do lift anyways i.e. 2.5 inches of lift 2 to 2.5 inches of bumpstop

hockey pucks......... buy 2 hockey pucks they are 1 inch thick each drill a hole through them and bolt them on after drilling a hole through the bottom plate of course, could even glue them I suppose. Actually you can use anything , metal , wood, that will give you that 2 inches or so.
