Who's running the Skyjacker lift?

Post subject:  Who's running the Skyjacker lift?
Considering all of my options, haven't heard much about this lift. So who's got the Skyjacker lift and what are your thoughts, gripes, etc? Thanks.

I was just about to order this lift kit for my 05 when I met up with ARB Seth and Target practice up here in the NW. Target is running this lift and if he had to do it over again he says he would go with the frankenlift. He has not had any problems with it though. ARB Seth is running combo lift derived from Old Man Emu check it out on their web site ARBUSA.com.
I am still undecided but its down to Old man Emu or skyjacker. Its a tough choice. ( I have heard one complaint of saging springs from skyjacker) :twisted:

I removed the Skyjacker from my KJ. In front I had CV binding and major ball joint contact with the spring. I kept the back end of the kit when I replaced the front with the Frankenlift. Turns out the SJ shocks were total trash as I blew them out in under 30,000 miles. Now I have the Frankenlift components all the way around and couldn't be happier.

BTW, the SJ rear springs are great. They are the best part of the kit.

I have had no problems with my Skyjacker...everyone always seems to have problems but not for me. Couldn't be happier, especially w/the rear! I also run an ARB bumper w/no saggin up front...yet... :wink: May need to get the HDs from OME. All around my SJ is a GREAT KIT! I recommend it :D

im running the skyjacker lift, so far so good the only thing that happened was as soon as i took my kj for its first drive after the install, the right front strut blew, but skyjacker sent me a new one, ive got about 3,000 miles on the lift and so far no sagging.

I have had my skyjacker for a couple of months know and no problem. I have had it off-road and it has performed quite well. The west coast guys show much love for the frankinlift since it is owned by a member. The struts that are sent with this lift are rebuildable and all of the springs are very solid. You also gotta love seeing the red showing from under the Jeep. I ran my stock tires for a while with this lift and my Libby rode like my Grand. Overall I am very impressed with this lift.

I've had the Skyjacker spacer lift for about six weeks. Also put Skyjacker Shocks on the rear. Left the original struts in front. Mainly on road, been mild off roading twice. I have had no problems. Ride is a little stiffer. Still running 225's until save up for bigger tires. Going to Moab Easter for the big test.

Sweet MOAB BABY! You may want to get a little more pratice in before going to Moab. Mild off-roading twice is not Moab's middle name if ya know what I mean :D :wink: Have fun!

This will make our fifth time to Moab. The fourth in a Liberty. We usually do 3 rated trails. Go for the scenery, not the hard core. Had to be strapped twice, both times due to my driving, not the vehicle. This time we have the CRD and want to see how it handles.

Much love is given to the Frankenlift because it's a great kit, doesn't matter who made it.

There are several lifts out there at do a great job. Definatly read the threads, talk to the shops and pick the one that meets your needs.

Just to let you know. Moab was my VERY FIRST time off-roading. I did hard trails with LOST. No problems and loved it. Kinda spoiled now that I did Moab. Hard to look at moderate trails here in Colorado and think they have any challenge in them. hahaha!

I had the Rusty's 2.5" lift, stock side rails, full skids, and stock SR/A tires
when I did Moab.
