| Post subject: | Noise while turning |
I instilled a 2.5” Rusty’s coil lift w/two conduct nuts in April07. Everything has been working fine but within the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed that when going up hill and the steering cranked all the way to the right either forward or reverse I get one (1) loud for lack of a better word “clunk”. I know it’s the driver side that’s where the noise is coming from and I can feel it too. When I try to recreate it I can’t, it might seem like it would "wind" itself and them “clunk” a few days-week later. Any suggestions of what this might be? |

'clunks' are normally loose bolts - or worn bushings I'd put it on jackstands - pull the tires and start checking torques. |

Might also want to check the front swaybar end link bolts, they can make a clunk when turning.Or could be a bad retaining CV axle clip, had one go bad on my KJ and it would make a loud clunk when turning from the CV shaft pulling out of the housing then slamming back into place. |
