 Post subject: muffler question??

so i'm looking at getting a new muffler for the jeep and i was looking at the flowmaster delta 50 series, that seems to be the muffler of choice here, any imput on this one please feel free, anyway back to my question inlet and outlet diameter what is it?

2.5 inch with offset outlet / center inlet, actually it necks down in front of the muffler to 2 1/4 but you cut that part out and have a 2.5 inch all the way through

Just a tip: tommudd is always right, so he's got you covered with the fittment of the muffler. 8)

My personal choice along with many others on LOST is the Magnaflow muffler. Mine is the 14" and I think it sounds great! Purchase & install of the muffler at the local top-shelf exhaust shop was <$140.

Another tip: Log-on to "YouTube" & enter "Magnaflow Jeep Liberty", "Flowmaster Jeep Liberty", etc. into the search and you can compare for yourself. Good Luck in choosing!! :D

When adding the Flowmaster Exhaust, will that increase MPG at all? I know that there is increased air flow out the back so I would assume that, that would help with MPG. Also how much horsepower does it add. It would also sound cool to!!!
