about 70-80 miles from where i am we have had a KJer fab up a snorkel for a trip up cape York ( 4x4 Heaven ) right to the top of tropical Australia) I will try and get some details on how it was fabbed,

that looks like a standard nudge bar they sell from the stealership i think its from an 04 mod

the only other people that make bars for the KJ in Aus are these guys

The catalog ARB sent me has a snorkel for the Liberty....I think they say it's only good up to the '04s but what could be so different that it wouldn't work on the '05s?

The snorkel in the ARB catalog is for XJs. Remember that ARB is an Aussie company and the KJ is called Cherokee over there, so KJ and XJ are in the same section of the catalog.

If you check out their web site for Jeep KJ. It says N/A for the KJ snorkel. Here is the link, http://arb.com.au/Seattle/UVAG_PDF/jeep_kj.pdf

The KJ is called the Cherokee over there, but it's still a KJ not an XJ. I have heard of people modding the XJ snorkel for the KJ, but have not seen it or don't know what they have done to get it to work.

yeah i love the shape of the KJ it just a shame about the front end so for now i'll stay with the XJ but i always keep an eye on the stuff happening with the KJ for future trail rigs
