I need help with Rancho shocks!

I know the Rancho RSX17004 shock is listed as working for a lifted KJ. But what about the Rancho RS5000 series shocks? They are cheaper, but is there one that will work with a lifted KJ? A guy at Rocky Mountain Suspension told me that the RS5284 shock will work on the rear. But then on their website it says that shock only works for a non-lifted KJ. Help! :cry:

can't they cross reference the RSX17004?

i'm pretty sure i read that they are listed as fitting the Dodge Durango.

OK nevermind. I found a chart. It shows that the Rancho RSX17004 fits the 98-03 Dodge Durango and the Dodge Dakota. This shock crosses with the Rancho RS5248 shock if you want to save about $30 on a pair and don't need premium quality.

Thanks to all for the tip about it fitting the Durango. That helped me track down what I hope will be the proper shocks when they are delivered. :wink:
