i just got back from 4wheel parts by me, just to see what the cost is for the full OME lift, HD springs, front OME struts and rear OME132 shocks, came to about 885 plus tax, for that much i can just get the frankenlift 1 premium if i got the lift from all j's, how much did you guys pay? with shipping. i also told them(4wheel parts) i wanted rancho front struts because im on a budget and they said to go with the ome's, my guess is to try and get more money out of me, im sure the ranchos will be ok, right? obviously the OME's are going to be better, but the ranchos arent that bad are they. im trying to figure out the cheapest place to get this lift because next month im getting it with my tax return, and was just curious what u guys paid, thank you! |

They are high. without shipping by shopping around on the internet and buying the components seperately and paid a bunch less, somewhere around 650.00 i think. Shop around. |

They don't even list OME's on their website. |

It's the OME struts and shocks that where killing you in that price, you'd save about $150 going to the Rancho struts and the Rancho 17004 shocks. |

I got OME mediums springs and Rancho shocks front and rear. Awesome ride. Great improvement over stock. I would get the HD springs, if your going to be running a bumper. |

Just for reference and discussion OME N132L rear shocks from AllJs 84.99 each Rancho Rear RSX 17004 Summit Racing 55. each yes I know The N132L are longer travel but just for comparison pricies OME Front Struts 151.55 each AllJs Front Rancho RSXs 85.00 each You could run to Summit Racing and pick up the shocks/ struts no shipping order the springs from AllJs/ Oklahoma 4WD (I think thats the name isnt it or something like that) RRO (maybe last resort) but you can save geting it here and there, if you want. Ranchos have done me very well for several thousands of miles! you can call Heather as well, she is very understanding and helpful, no pressure in you have to buy this or that. I bought my springs and struts from them , rear shocks through Summit. You can also get Ranchos through some parts stores and they will price match! Tom |

awesome thanks guys! 725 shipped from ok4wd, thats exactly what i would have gotten from 4wheel parts for 880+tax! even though the shocks arent the 132L itll be ok for what i do,and its always something that could easily be swapped out if i really wanted the 132L's ![]() |

The reason I did it that way is sure i paid more in shipping but NOT ALL AT ONCE. I got the lift i wanted over a little bit more time and saved even after paying extra shipping. |

I bought my OME N132 shocks from Rustys for $40ea not the long shocks but the work and plus I dont do much flexing in the mud, then I used Rancho RSX17505 for the front $85ea from Summit Racing and FREE shipping, then I got all 4 HD Coils from DPG Off-Road paid a little bit more for the coils there but its a good local business and Ill go back and get a snorkel one of these days, I think I paid about $360 for the coils for a total of $610 then I also did a rear iso and 3 conduit nuts and gained 3" |

Just for shtsngigglz.. what about throwing on a "light load" OME setup all-around? Is this something anyone with NO extra weight such as myself should use? (besides the 245/70 mounted tire in the back) |

basically all springs are the same price no matter if they are light/ medium/ or heavy duty, same with shocks/ struts the same price so no matter what you want same pricing and yes I think I would UPGRADE to mediums, light are basically the same as stock rate |

Ok guys, I was going to go with the OK4wd full kit, but after reading this post I looked and saw that it doesn't come with the long travel shocks. Therefore, I am going to build my lift from pieces like Woody. So I need to be a super noobie here and ask about lifts parts. So my options are to build straight OME (with the long travel) out of: OMEN132L shocks OME HD Springs OME HD struts Or substitute some Rancho Struts, and shocks? RSX17004 Rancho long travel shocks OME HD springs Rancho RSX 17505 struts??? Can someone give this a look over and make sure it is correct, and also give me some actual part names/numbers. I am trying to go for about 2" of lift. I will get Al's Arms if I have to, but I am going to try to align without first. I would get all the info from this forum through searches, but the search function is really bad. Thanks guys. I don't mean to steal this post, its kinda related. |

The first set-up will cost about $200 or so more then the second set-up,I run the Rancho struts and shocks and think they are great,I had the OME rears and didn't personally like them.Plus you can only get the N132L's from AllJ's and they run out fast and waiting for them can be lengthy since they have to ship from down under. The part #'s for the Rancho's is correct already(17505 and 17004),the Rancho 17004's are actually for a stock Durango and give just as much flex as the OME N132L's,The HD OME coils are part #'s 927(front coils) and 948's(rear coils).
