Ok here are my plans for my lift.

OME front HD 927 springs
OME rear HD 948 springs

Rancho front struts rsx 17505
Rancho Rear shocks rsx 17004

and I plan on doing a clevis lift as well (how many conduit nuts should I use 2 or 3????)

is there anything else that I will need.. I keep seeing posts about brake lines and bump stops. Will I need either?

Will this be enough to fit 245 tires on?

thanks for all the advice

Simon says  ( just for you Nick)

Thats the number for the springs and struts / shocks that is correct, with the Rancho struts use 4 , trust me explained before, if using OME or stock then use 2 or 3 . This will let you sit level after everyting settles into place and YES you will get as much lift as Rustys advertised 2.5 inch
answering more than one post here sorry !!

so polock you are good to go, but still as soon as possible get some extended bumpstops as well, front Teraflex 001903200 16.24 each 801-713-3314 to order

In Tom's ("Simon Says") above post when he refers to, with Rancho's use 4 with OME 2-3, he is talking about electrical conduit nuts, or otherwise known as clevis rings to space the bottom of the strut at the clevis.

For cheap rear bump stops, you could try using the heads off of a couple cheap rubber mallets, (like $1.99 ea. at thrift store) cut them down to 2 1/2" and drill a 3/8'' hole though the middle and attach though a 3/8" drilled hole in the spring perch at the center of the spring with a 3/8" X 2 3/4" bolt & nut.

Simon, you really need to get with the moderators and make up a sticky so you don't have to type the same thing over and over.

i have read the lifts sticky... and i have been on here for about 2 weeks reading over all the lifts and reviews. The only problem is every thread is a little bit different. Thats why i posted this, i know it gets asked a lot, but I have decided to go with this lift and wanted to make sure i wasn't forgetting anything.

Try amazon.com for your rancho struts and shocks. I just ordered both for a total of about $225 with free shipping. Thats the best deal I have found so far. As far as the OME springs everyone I contacted had them on back order so I ended up ordering Rusty's for now. The actually gave me a decent price on them so I figured for now they will do.

My rustsy springs are doing fine after almost a year and a half. Ive had it offroad many times with tons of flexing with no sagging at all. I think they are ok as long as you dont get a steel bumper or anything(I dont plan on it).

Kinda hard to beat for $130. :)

But then I have seen OMEs for 67/75 each so 140/150 ??? not much difference, plus I like to get people charged up a little

Are you saying, 4 OME springs and 2 rear OME N132 shocks for $465.00 :?:

If so, that seems a little high priced. As MoabRox suggested, the Rancho RSX 17505 and RSX 17004 from Amazon.com for $225.00 with free shipping is a great deal, as most places are charging $85.00 ea. for 17505's and about $58.00 ea. for 17004's.

RRO has OME springs for $69.00 ea. X 4 = $276.00 + shipping.
http://www.rocky-road.com/kjome.html

So that would put you at $501.00 + shipping on just the springs. Aprox. $550.00 total.
