Pretty simple especially with the pre-assembled coilovers. If I can do it anyone can.

Ok, she told me that the ome lift springs only add 2".. i thought they were 2.5" lift. and that the frankenlift I will give me 2.5" is this right and is it worth the extra money to get the frankinlift I over just ome springs with rancho shocks? it will be about 350.00 more to go frankenlift over ome springs and rancho shocks that i found other places.. seems like what you would save by going other places to get everything you might pay more to have installed verses a pre assembled package like the frankenlift I. So your thoughts would be appreciated on this. cause i am going to begin ordering this next week. |

The frankenlift is OME springs plus a 1.5" daystar spacer. Some people get somewhere between 3-3.5" of lift. But it evenutally settles down to 2.5-3". The frankenlift is the best lift out there for the KJ, definately worth it if you have the cash. |

ah what the hell, i got the cash.. guess it would be a lot more simple to just get everything pre assembled and quality stuff... guess i'll go this route |

with the frankenlift a person with minor mechanic skills should be able install it right... I change my own oil, do all my stereo installation and fab work, change brake pads, helped buddies swap tranny's but never any suspension??? |

You should be fine. Find a buddy to help, grab a 2x4, and get the number of someone on the board who's done it before. It's been a while, and I don't have one to go look at, but you can PM me for my number if you want. Someone else on here who has one in front of them would be better, but if no one else volenteers, feel free to call me. Make sure to read over the installation writeup once or twice too. |

I think he meant a "24" (two-four) (24 case of beer) Although I am sure the 2x4 would come in handy in almost any home remodeling situation, and maybe could be used in the installation of the lift...if you really thought hard

Yea man go get the Frankenlift. I just installed mine last weekend. It took time because I ran into a problem with one of my UBJ stop nuts. Other then that, it was easy and looks FREAKING AWSOME. And on that 2x4 We went though 36 after we were done |

A lot of people go through he11 fighting with that bolt on the Frankie.

I did not have a problem with that. I used a rachet strap to my fron skid and around the Clevis fork. It took 2 people but we got it all together in less then 5 mins. |
