when the weather is cool, it sounds like the joints are going to heck. Yes, the front balls have been replaced. Any suggestions?

Spray the sway bar bushings with something and see if it helps.

When I do my oil changes and I am under there anyway, I spray mine with Endura made by Castle..... Red , white , and purple spray can. Auto Zone or Advance has it. It is heavier than say wd40 and stays put better.
