$216 for front KJ 4.10's??????????? A steal if true.

EDIT:

I called, & the bumpstops are out of stock for 10-14 days.

BUT:

THAT IS THE RIGHT PRICE ON THE GEARS! It takes two weeks to get them. They did not have origin info, but they may well be "off shore" but are called " equal to or better than OEM."

I called Tera Quest for the front bumpstops, and they told me it would take them two weeks to get it. Call Tera Flex directly for these :)

Did anyone question them to find out if the 4.10s' are for D-30 or D-30a? Other places say they have KJ gears and it turns out they have D-30 gears.

Good question. The part number (#5066085AA) matches those found on other sites for this part:

http://www.crownautomotive.net/catalog/ ... l30FKJ.htm

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ ... el=Liberty

Does not mean that they have it right, however... :?

If it is available for $216 that is about $160 cheaper than the cheapest D30a OEM 4.10 gears I could find online...

They carry the Crown Automotive gear set. The person put me on hold for a bit, told me they were in fact for the KJ, verified the price, and it would take them two weeks to get them.

Good find! So, are you going to make the purchase?

I will try out the new tires before I make any choices.

Even though I am going to a 32" tire, the calculator only tells me to got to a 3.73 to regain stock perfromance. The low first gear in te 6-spd probably helps. So, where going to the 4.10's actually just bring most lifted rigs back to normal, for me they would represent a serious boost in off-road performance. I think the 4.10's would enable me to use 6th gear earlier, as well.

If I could swing it financially, 4.10's on a front Detroit TT & an Detroit 4.10 rear would be a killer set-up for me for a lot less then 4.10'd ARB's.

thats the way i plan to go DTT front 4.10s and Detroit and 4.10s in the rear. sounds like a killer set up to me. ive drove a Rover with that locker set up on and off road and was really impressed w/ it. i have also drove a Land Rover just like it with out the lockers so i had something to compare it to. like you ARB just seems out of my price range for now. although if i can swing it i might go that way since i do DD my KJ for now anyways
