believe it or not, that was at one time a Chevy Colorado 4x4. looks like it still has the I5 in it. I saw a bunch of trucks like that, including an overturned 4wd Tahoe.


got stuck, lol. entirely the fault of my driving (the left side was WAY more solid, and I *should've* gone that way:P)

anyhow...NOW my Libby sits WAY low up front, and it's got a LOT of negative camber-I'm figuring that it's because it's sitting low (either that or i'm paranoid)

When I got pulled out, I got pulled out backwards, you think my skidplate might've scooped up a buncha mud, and that's just weighing it down? I didn't hit anything particularly hard today...what do you guys think? is there anything TO break?
pic of it sitting way too low (unless i'm just paranoid, and notice things that aren't there, which happens often)

Looks normal to me, off camber though? hmmm... Get under there and take a good look and snap a few pics. Most likely fine. Nice pics btw.

You'll be amazed how much mud the front skid can carry. I took mine to the carwash and hosed out a whole load. Next day I got underneath and emptied the remaining stubborn stuff by hand and managed to fill 3 large flowerpots. :)

The KJs skid plates (especially the front one) are definitely prone to picking up mud. I've pulled over 100 lbs. (I was curious so I weighed it) out of the plates from one trip once. Give it a good hosing out and you should be ok.

The front bumper can conceal a great deal of mud also. Flush it from every angle you can and watch the mud flow!

I think it looks normal. Others have told you about the front skid so I won't bother. However, your alignment issues (or perceived issues) are no doubt caused by the build up of mud in your WHEELS. Get in there with a power washer.

The front bumper is big and hollow. Like a scoop, and if u got dragged out backwards... I bet it's full!

After a mild day of wheelin' (and I wasn't dragged out backwards at all)

What's there probably weighed about 20 lbs, so if you got stuck, and dragged, then you could have quite a bit more. It's only 4 bolts to take it off, might not be a bad idea.

I'll put it up on a lift tomorrow and bring the digicam. got a pressure washer at work...and i hosed out the insides of the wheels first thing. no balance issues on my way TO work, but now my steering wheel shakes like a withdrawn heroin addict. I think I missed a chunk on the RF wheel. I've got a LOT of crap up there, so maybe i can just hose it out in one of the service bays, since I can't really get UNDER it in the wash bay.

I'll say this:
my CJ7 and my little Jap rigs were WAY easier to hose out than the KJ is. course, I'm sure that's got a lot to do with it being 11 years newer than the 2nd newest vehicle i've owned.
