| Post subject: | Nerf bars on a Limited |
Anyone installed Nerf bars or running boards on a Limited? I bought a set of Westin's ($250) but the Limited has that weird plastic piece that runs under the doors and sticks out such that the Nerf bars are worthless - the Westin nerf bars don't stick out far enough to be useful as a step. Do the Mopar ones fit better? I was trying to save $100 but these won't work for me. For reaching up on the roof, I either just stand on the rear tire or open the front door and stand on the rocker. |

All '05s have that plastic "thing" on the rocker panel. Any bars, rails or steps designed for '02-04 KJs will probably not fit. I agree with Eddo though, just stand on the rear tire or open up a door and stand on the sill. |
