Well, I had to take my pump out to install the franken lift, and when I went to put it back in, I noticed gear oil in the socket for the front air line connection. There was no oil dripping out of the air line. What is going on, how is diff oil getting up the line into the pump? What could be wrong with the locker? I know I have an air leak somewhere in the front. Could it be the leak is inside the diff where the line connects to the actual locker? If so what damage could it cause? Is this a common problem? |

I'm not 100% sure, but if the system was unpressurized, you had a small leak in the front ant the diff temp rose it may have been enough to force some fluid up the line. But the air unit inside the diff is supposed to be sealed, isn't it? |
