I have a CRD with a 2" OME lift and air bags in the back to help with any sag when I tow or load down the liberty. I like being able to lift the rear a little more and would like to be able to do the same to the front, so I could adjust the ride height for daily commute versus off road. I came across this product and was wondering if it would work for the Liberty, and if it did work would I still need to do things like new upper control arms or cut down the CVs if I only planned to raise it higher than the installed 2" lift when offroading (probably a dumb question I know). I contacted the company and received this information: "Our coilovers bag setup is designed as an upgrade for any 2" coilovers. You will want to put the coilovers on first and the amount of lift is determined by the placement of your coilovers. Then you can upgrade the to the bag setup for the adjustability" My question is if the Liberty has 2" coilovers? |

"2.17" or smaller on the Outside diameter of the threaded body on the shock" is what the company says. Anyone know if that describes a 2005 CRD? I am out of town and can't measure myself |

That is a coil over shock with a bag. It's not designed to replace the strut. To fit that setup would require alot of fabrication. Keep the strut and replace the spring or replace the whole assembly. setting up the rear is easier and cheaper. This setup probably wont give you an off road advantage but for on road, towing, or even a plow setup, it looks like it would work. The price is reasonable. I'm going to look into it. I mainly want it for towing. |

appreciate the help and the websites. I primarily was looking for something like the airbags I have in the rear, where I can level out the vehicle as necessary, or possibly gain alittle extra clearance for light offroad use. I really don't want to go to a system with no springs if I can avoid it but at least now I know there are some options out there. |
