Does anyone have a line on replacement bushings for an "04 KJ? The shop is telling me all rear bushing need be replaced. Haven't checked yet myself as it's presently in the shop for other work but just wondering if there are replacements that are better than the OEM (if i'm going to replace them, might as well put in some good stuff).

Anybody?

What rear bushings? ...For the control arms?

If they aren't making noise, don't worry about it :) (I have not read one thread here about someone needing to change them)

Read elsewhere, rear control arm bushings and the rear upper ball joint do go bad. Just because you haven't read it on L.O.S.T. dosen't mean that the problem dosen't exist.

He didn't ask about the ball joint. If and when the bushings go, it's no big deal. IMO it's pointless to replace them if they aren't showing signs of needing to be replaced (that is, squeaking).

Sounds to me that the shop is trying to make a quick buck.
