21 Road?

As you may know, I'm moving to Grand Junction, CO in a couple months. I've been researching places to play in that area and was curious if my KJ could handle 21 Road. Has anyone done it in a Libby, yet? Carnage Corner is the part that scares me most since there's no bypass for that section. Most of the other trails in the area seem pretty do-able but I'm not one to settle for easy all the time. Can't wait to get down there and check 'em all out in person!

They rate 21 road as one of the hardest trails in CO,you need big steel balls for that trail,will be hitting it up after the SFA swap.21 road is a trail that there is not a chance of breaking but "you will break something" type of trail.Sorry a KJ with the IFS still upfront can not make that trail,even with lockers F/R,you need the traction and articulation also,there are some massive rocks on that trail and I believe 35" tires are a min for that trail(recommended).

Here is another fun one.....Liberty Trail.

And that is the easiest of the tri trails,independance,Patriot,and Liberty trails.They all are very short trails but expect all day(and night) to run them.CO has some wicked trails.

Those look similar to the Hammers trails & others out here in Johnson Valley. Constant moving boulders that don't care what $$ you spent on your Jeep, they will kick your stupid.

Don't know if your into mountain biking...but I just spent a week in Grand Junction riding and the trails there and in Fruita are absolutely AWESOME !! :twisted:

The biking is no lie... between Fruita, Moab, Telluride, Durango, and Ouray there isn't enough time in the year to hit it all.

Until I can quit smoking, I'm afraid the only mountain bike I'm riding would have to have an engine. Appreciate the info though. I used to ride a lot. Might help with quitting, but I think the price of cig's in CO will do more to get me to quit.
