OK, here's the deal. I have a great set of 255/70-16 REVOs (currently on my 98 Explorer).

I want to swap these over to my wife's 05 Liberty but I hear they will rub without a lift. I also hear that the 255/70s WILL fit CRDs NO PROBLEM.

I need a INEXPENSIVE FIX to be able to use the REVOs on the 05 Liberty.

Ideas/Suggestions PLEASE! 8)

They may fit no problem. If not...clevis lift (free and easy).

It does not cost you anything but a little work. It allows for adjustment of the front lift a little more for tire fitment. Adjusting the cleavis mount down about .5" nets about 1.25" of additional lift.

Straight from Clint's article called "Basic Lifts Available" in the Tech Section.

I have those Revos on my 05 Lib Ren. I only have minor rubbing even without a lift. Where rubbing (all well plastic) can be heated and pushed in. Since I will not be wheeling major offroad, I feel the tires are fine.

I will get a 2-2.5 lift someday.

BEEEEF!

Here is a picture. I know the wheels are not shown to the best of my ability, but I will capture more and upload them soon.
