I'm in the market for a Tranny skid, and not interested in Mopar.

Skid Row looks tough, looks like Boulder Bars doesn't make them anymore...

Any other options? Is the Skid Row tranny skid what most rock dwellers are using?

Besides the MOPAR tranny skid the SkidRow one is the only one offered right at the "moment".I ran the SkidRow tranny skid and beat the snot out of it and it more then did it's job when bashing it on the boulders here in the Rockies and MOAB.

There is also a company called Asfir that makes them in 6mm thick aluminium - don't know what they're like though compared to the skidrow product.

6mm aluminum isn't all that thick...

What kind of warranty does Asfir have though?

If you actually use the skids you do not want aluminum, with aluminum a rock will dig into the skid and hang you up,with steel you will slid over it much easier then with aluminum.

The 3/16" thick steel SkidRow skid plates are way stronger then the 6mm aluminum Asfir skids, sure the Asfir ones are a far lighter but I do rock crawl in my KJ and the SkidRow skids have proved themselfs and are worth the money.
